How the paper gets made
Eight stories, a factual layer, and a separate satirical point of view. This is the process behind each edition.
Source selection
We collect current reporting from established publishers, official bodies, specialist outlets, and trusted original creators. A candidate needs an identifiable source, a working source link, enough context to verify the central claim, and relevance to the edition it may enter.
We favor primary reporting and direct statements. Repeated articles about the same event are clustered so popularity does not become duplication.
AI assistance
AI helps classify incoming material, summarize claims, draft a factual brief, propose a satirical angle, and prepare illustration directions. It is a production tool, not a source and not the accountable publisher.
Human oversight
The operator defines the rules, reviews exceptions, can reject or reorder every edition item, handles corrections, and remains responsible for publication. Serious, uncertain, sensitive, or disputed material cannot use the automatic lane.
Satire separation
The factual brief and Jester's take are labeled and displayed separately. A joke must not be presented as a quote, fact, or sourced claim. Readers can follow the source links without passing through the satire.
Image generation
Original cartoons and illustrations are generated from an editorial concept. Harm, sexualization of minors, graphic material, misleading likenesses, and unsupported allegations are blocked. Platform videos and publisher media are credited and linked instead of being claimed as Jester artwork.
Corrections
Readers can report a factual error from any story or through the contact page. Material changes receive a visible note and updated timestamp. Details are in the corrections policy.
